1. Eligibility & Age Restriction

NoteKart is intended for students and educational communities. To use our platform:

• You must be at least 15 years old to register and use NoteKart independently.
• If you are under 15 years old, you may only use NoteKart under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
• By using NoteKart, you confirm that you meet the age requirements or have obtained parental/guardian consent.

2. Account Registration

To list materials or purchase, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain the security of your login credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

3. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You may not upload, share, or sell:

• Copyrighted material without permission from the rights holder.
• Offensive, illegal, or fraudulent content.
• Spam, malware, or any harmful code.
• Personal contact information of others without consent.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

4. Payments & Refunds

NoteKart uses third-party payment gateway (Razorpay) to process payments for premium listings or paid features.

• All payments are final and non-refundable, except in case of a technical error on our side.
• We are not responsible for gateway downtime, bank delays, or incorrect user inputs.
• By making a payment, you agree to the gateway's terms of service.
• Disputes must be raised within 7 days to contact@notekart.co.in.

5. User-to-User Transactions

NoteKart is a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers. We do not directly participate in the physical exchange of study materials.

• Sellers are responsible for accurately describing their materials.
• Buyers should verify details before purchase.
• NoteKart is not liable for disputes between users beyond facilitating communication and payment.

6. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any activity that may harm NoteKart or its users.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoteKart and its owners, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or transaction disputes.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of NoteKart after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
